Thermalquelle Brigerbad starts using xPlan
We are proud to have delivered another project in Switzerland. Thermalquellen Brigerbad AG has started using xPlan for their entire operation. And it was an instant success!
The entire project has been planned in close cooperation with the Brigerbad staff and saw a change in access control throughout the property, the installation of a Payment Kiosk where guests can pay for their stay, and a new website with E-Commerce module (currently for Gift Card and Voucher sales, soon to be extended with Online Reservations).
xPlan is used for the entire operation! Ecommerce, Scheduling, Ticketing, Access Control, Point of Sale, Cashless Payment, F&B, Accounting, Marketing and more. Visitors of Thermalquelle Brigerbad can check themselves out at the special Self Service Check Out terminal, after which they can leave through the special Exit Turnstile where their RFID wristband will be retrieved. Given the proximity to Italy and the French/German speaking parts of Switzerland, the Multi Lingual functions of xPlan were very important. Brigerbad is beautifully located in the Wallis Kanton and offers Switzerlands largest outdoor thermal bath area with many pools, a streaming river and even a 182 meter slide coming down the mountain. Inside there are multiple pools with Thermal water. The property is divided in different area’s for which a customer can buy an entry and/or membership.
The Spa area offers its visitors many sauna’s and a caved pool. Each area is accessible through a turnstile. xPlan checks the guests RFID wristband to see if entrance is allowed in accordance with the bought entry. We also provided the new locks for the lockers which can be opened by the guest with their RFID wristband. Guests can leave the property when nothing is left to be paid and after depositing their wristband in the special retriever, which will allow exit.
xPlan is also used for Group Lessons reservations and membership administration. And each treatment is automatically scheduled by xPlan. The ease of use, many possibilities that xPlan has to offer as well as the excellent support/implementation were essential for Brigerbad.
Management was thrilled with how easy xPlan works and how easy it is to get the information that you need. Everything is at your disposal and gives full control of the company. “I really love this system!!” was the reaction of the Assistant Director.
Furthermore this Thermal bath offers a Camping with over 400 pitches, that also uses xPlan for its booking as well as the Camping Shop. All a very extensive project, but one with great cooperation with the entire team of Thermalquelle Brigerbad.
During the implementation of xPlan future projects were planned in accordance with the vision of Brigerbad in combination with xPlan expertise. This will mean that we will be visiting Brigerbad for further projects in the near future. It was appreciated that besides supplying Brigerbad with a great software tool, we also supplied ideas how to optimize business processes and improve turnover in ways that goes beyond ‘regular’ software implementation.
